Hack for sustainable impact!
The Klimathon is an online and offline contest event to understand, design and test moonshot ideas that help us deal with large-scale sustainability and climate change challenges. The goal is to unite for the development of sustainable solutions to pivot towards impactful change! As participant you have the opportunity to choose between two tracks. Either you go for the “INNC/INNO Challenge” or you take part in the “Impacthon”-Track by circle 17. The two events are intervened, the two events follow the same goal – Impactful change as community.
We are a vivid community that go the next steps together with you. We are the InnoDays, Startup.tirol, the Impact Hub, the circular design week, the Innergy Reallabor, the Green Office of UIBK, the InnCubator and circle 17. Special thanks also goes to the Tiroler Versicherungen for the support.

To each and everyone, organizations, students, startups, who dare to think, look, and unite against climate change within the region of West Austria
The goal of Tyrol
Tyrol has the goal of freeing itself from dependence on fossil fuels until 2050. In the future, Tyroleans should be able to cover their entire energy needs from domestic, renewable sources. More info on TIROL 2050 energieautonom
The two tracks
The INNC/INNO Challenge takes place in the InnCubator and is an offline event. The Impacthon is an online/hybrid event. We would love to have all of you in our space.
Both tracks follow a similar schedule and take place from the 20th of may until the 22nd of may.
How does it work?
1) Read through the challenges and decide for one Event (INNC/INNO Challenge or Impacthon)
2) Sign up via the registration links before the events and follow the instructions.
3) (For the INNC/INNO Challenge) you either upload your idea as video, or present your idea on spot
4) Participate and work on innovative solutions in teams
5) Present your ideas and win prizes
6) (optional) Follow up on your ideas and get support along the way
