In today’s competitive landscape, innovation is key to success. This workshop is meticulously designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to transform innovative ideas into tangible first prototypes to prove the problem/solution fit. The workshop contains the following learning objectives:

Creative Idea development: Discover methods for developing and creatively elaborating your ideas in order to promote innovation.

Strategic Idea Evaluation: Learn to systematically evaluate ideas and make informed decisions. Develop the ability to identify and prioritize ideas with the most potential.

Distinguishing Disruptive and Incremental Ideas: Understand the critical difference between disruptive and incremental ideas and how to harness their potential.

 

The “From the Problem to the Idea” workshop is a transformative experience that delves into the realms of creative problem solving and design thinking, honing essential skills for innovation. Participants will embark on a journey to achieve the following learning objectives:

  • Creating a Digital Prototype: Transform your ideas into digital prototypes, gaining hands-on experience in the prototyping process.
  • Purpose of Prototypes: Grasp the significance of prototypes in the innovation journey and their role in refining concepts.
  • Feedback Methods (UX Testing): Understand and apply first simple feedback methods for UX testing, to clarify the next steps.

This workshop is the next gateway to effective innovation. Join us on this transformative journey from idea to prototype and take a significant step toward realizing your innovative vision. This workshop marks the beginning of the DIH course “Beyond Prototyping: Transforming Problems into Validated Software.” The workshop series is organized by the University of Innsbruck’s Department of Informatics and the Innovation and Startup Center InnCubator.
