Baguette Boards, founded by engineer Dr. Benoit Caillaud, has set itself the goal of bringing snowboard production back to the Alps. The company redefines the relationship between the rider and his board: there are no more mass-produced products made for stock distribution, but each board we make is truly unique, from the shape to the graphics, adapted to the rider’s profile and meeting his needs and specifications. State-of-the-art engineering techniques derived from the aerospace industry are used to adapt the shape and structure to specific needs, such as finite element analysis and structural optimization. This enables the use of natural, more sustainable materials to reduce the environmental footprint on the mountain and restore sustainability while forging social bonds at a local level.
